These Terms and Conditions govern your access to sportshighlight.net and everything published on it. Reading the site means you accept them. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
1. What This Site Is
SportsHighLight publishes sports journalism: match recaps, highlight analysis, ranked plays, attributed quotes from athletes and coaches, and background articles on training, recovery and performance. It is an editorial publication. It is not a ticketing service, a betting operator, an official statistics provider, a streaming platform, or an outlet of any league, club or federation, and nothing here should be read as an official communication from any of them.
2. Permission to Use the Site
You may read, print and share our articles for personal, non-commercial purposes, and quote short extracts provided you credit SportsHighLight and link to the page you took them from. You may link to us freely and without asking.
You may not:
- republish, syndicate, translate or mirror our articles in whole or in substantial part, in any medium, without written permission;
- crawl, scrape or harvest the site with automated tools beyond ordinary search engine indexing consistent with our robots directives;
- use the content of this site, or any dataset derived from it, for text and data mining or to train, fine-tune or benchmark machine learning systems. We expressly reserve those rights, including the reservation permitted by Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790;
- interfere with the operation of the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to defeat rate limits, access controls or advertising delivery;
- remove or obscure any byline, credit or copyright notice;
- present yourself as writing for, or speaking on behalf of, SportsHighLight.
3. Intellectual Property
The text, headlines, analysis, original graphics and arrangement of this site are protected by copyright and belong to the site’s operator or to contributors who licensed them to us.
Team names, league names, competition names, club crests, sponsor marks and athlete likenesses referred to here are the property of their respective owners. They appear for the purpose of reporting on and commenting upon sporting events. Their presence does not imply that any owner endorses, sponsors or is otherwise associated with this site.
Photographs, video and audio published or embedded on this site are used under license, through an official embed supplied by the rights holder, or under the exceptions that permit reporting of current events. If you hold rights in material published here and believe it has been used outside those terms, write to [email protected] with the page URL and identification of the asset. We act on well-founded notices quickly.
4. Comments and Submissions
Where comments are open, what you post is your responsibility. Do not post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or knowingly false material; do not post other people’s personal information; do not post advertising, affiliate links or search placements.
By submitting a comment or any other material you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce and moderate it in connection with the site. You keep ownership of what you wrote. We may edit, refuse or delete any submission at our discretion and without explanation, and we are under no obligation to screen submissions in advance.
5. Advertising
This site carries advertising, and that advertising pays for the journalism. Advertisements are supplied by third parties through automated auctions and are not reviewed by our editorial team before they appear. An advertisement sitting next to an article is not an endorsement of the advertiser, its products or its claims, and it has no bearing on our coverage. Any dispute about an advertisement is between you and the advertiser. How advertising data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
6. Accuracy and the Limits of What We Publish
Sport moves. Scores are amended, leagues revise statistics after publication, injuries are reclassified, transfers collapse. We correct what we find, as described in the Editorial Policy, but we do not warrant that any figure, ranking, quote or projection on this site is complete, current or free of error at the moment you read it.
Nothing here is professional advice. It is not medical, physical therapy or nutritional advice; it is not financial advice; and it is not betting, wagering or fantasy contest advice. The Disclaimer sets those limits out in full and forms part of these Terms.
7. Third-Party Links and Embeds
We link to league sites, statistics providers, official club media and other publications, and we embed video and social posts hosted elsewhere. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following a link takes you outside this site and outside this agreement.
8. Availability
The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, restructure or withdraw any part of the site, including archived articles, at any time and without notice.
9. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the site’s operator nor its contributors is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this site or from reliance on anything published on it.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect the mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
10. Indemnity
If your breach of these Terms, or material you submitted to the site, causes a claim against the site’s operator, you agree to cover the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms. The date at the top identifies the current version, and continuing to use the site after a revision is acceptance of it. Substantive changes are flagged on this page.
12. Governing Law and Severability
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law applicable at the place of establishment of the site’s operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without depriving consumers resident in the EEA or the United Kingdom of the protection of mandatory local law. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
