If you submit content to the site — including comments, tips, story pitches, corrections, or other communications — you represent that:
- you own the content or have the right to submit it;
- the content does not infringe third-party rights, defame any person, or violate any law;

- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any site component;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting the editorial team.
6. Editorial content disclaimers
SportsHighLight publishes sports analysis, statistics, trends, projections, and commentary. The site is editorial in nature and includes interpretation. We make a good-faith effort to be accurate, but:
- sports data, schedules, injuries, transactions, and official records can change without notice;
- projections, forecasts, ratings, and ranking systems are inherently uncertain and may be wrong;
- opinion pieces represent the views of the named byline at the time of writing.
6.1 No betting, gambling, financial, legal, medical, or professional advice
Any reference to odds, lines, probabilities, projections, rankings, performance trends, contract values, or competitive standings is provided for informational and editorial purposes only. It is not betting advice, gambling advice, financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, medical advice, or any other form of professional advice. Decisions you make based on site content are your own responsibility. If you believe you may have a gambling problem, contact a national problem-gambling helpline in your jurisdiction.
7. Third-party links and advertising
The site may link to third-party websites and may display advertising delivered by third-party networks. SportsHighLight does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites or advertisers, and links or advertising do not constitute endorsement. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Corrections, takedowns, and DMCA
SportsHighLight respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes:
- a physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or their authorized agent;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- identification of the material on the site that is claimed to be infringing, with a URL;
- your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
Send DMCA notices to [email protected] with the subject “DMCA notice.” Misrepresentations in a DMCA notice may subject the sender to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
For non-DMCA correction requests, see Section 4 of our Editorial Policy.
9. Disclaimers of warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsHighLight disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, security, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the site will be free of errors, viruses, or interruption.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsHighLight, its editors, writers, contributors, vendors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or use, arising out of or related to your access to, use of, or inability to use the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability is limited to USD 100 (one hundred United States dollars).
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SportsHighLight and its editors, writers, contributors, vendors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your access to or use of the site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right, through content you submit to the site.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the site, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, SportsHighLight, or third parties, or for any other reason in our sole discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SportsHighLight is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the site shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
14. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
15. Force majeure
SportsHighLight is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, infrastructure outages, hosting failures, government action, or pandemic.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last reviewed” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
